53. Use what you have…

One of the weekend activities that we did together with our friends today was a piece of art work based on applique technique. When we started to glue the glitter chips on the fabric, we realized that it would be easy to do it with a tooth prick or some sharp stick. Since, we did not had any toothpicks available, we used floss sticks. It is surprising how a little brainstorming can help us to identify objects that could be used to fulfill our needs though that is not typically what that object might be used for.
Sometimes it is a very good idea to not have what we need. Because only then we can become more resourceful and creative with what we have.
