25. Just do it.

I have been wanting to walk 6.3 miles or 10 kms for a couple of days now. I am not yet at that level of fitness that I want to be. So, I was in a dilemma as to whether I should push myself and just walk or wait for a couple of weeks to develop more endurance and strength before I go on a 6 + mile walk.
Today, I felt like challenging myself and see if I could walk 6 miles without feeling like giving up. My sister Sru and I went to a state park. We went on hike on a couple of trails. I am happy to say that I have walked about 6.4 miles without ever feeling like stopping for the day. This hike did take me a pretty long time though, but hey the nature was distracting with all the beautiful flora and fauna it has to offer.

More often than not, we all spend so much time on thinking and preparing how we should do something, without actually ever doing the task. Sometimes, we should ‘Just Do It’, as Nike would say. Especially, if this something is something that we have always wanted to do.
